LOGI.C Conferences 2024
LOGI.C conferences 2024_Thessaloniki is welcoming business executives, members of the academia, representatives of associations and researchers from Greece and other Balkan countries in an event of commercial interest that will be hosted in a high level exhibition (11-13 April, HELEXPO-THESSALONIKI INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION), combined with a parallel conference, where knowledge and views will be exchanged on matters of interconnections, the proper management of transport, the increase in the international flows, cooperativeness, etc.
Thessaloniki welcomes International Quests
The supply chain & logistics role has reported a constant increase in Greece in the past eight years. The sector’s contribution in the GDP approximates 11-13% trending upwards, whereas the high level of services provided by Greek logistics companies, combined with the completion of important infrastructure projects in the country, the development of ports and the strong investment interest, have resulted in making Greece one of the top 20 countries with the most developed logistics in the world according to the World Bank’s Logistics Performance Index (LPI no 19), compared to the 42nd position the country occupied only three years ago.
In this landscape, it is quite evident that the economy of Northern Greece plays an important role in the Balkan and Southeast Europe regions, with Thessaloniki being gradually recognised as a Transit & Logistics Hub in the wider region. The investment growth actions taken by Thessaloniki Port Authority combined with the existence of a reliable support network (Igoumenitsa, Volos, Kavala, Alexandroupoli) and the railway and intermodal synergies with the Balkan neighbouring countries give the promise of a bright future for the region and the sector in general.
In these conditions, O.MIND CREATIVES aims to cement the presence of a Logistics & Supply Chain Exhibition and Conference in Thessaloniki, specifically, in the most iconic area of the city, the Thessaloniki International Exhibition-Helexpo, by inviting international companies and speakers to participate in a three-day event of knowledge & networking.
